After development of Platinum series, our new flagship as non-compromise model for proving the best we can do, we also decided to use some parts and techniques developed for Platinum to upgrade Silver-10 without adding much cost, and the result is Silver-10 EVO. You can regard it as “lite” version of Platinum-10, keeping close pricing as Silver-10 but with remarkable sound performance improvement towards Platinum-10. For the sound signature we would like to quote a review from a customer who is professional amplifier builder that bought and compared all the models, Silver-10, Silver-10 EVO and Platinum-10:
“It’s something different, in a very good way. The highs are very clear, just like Pt-10, not the same but come close. And the sound style is warmish.”
This driver is completely compatible with all Crystal-10 enclosures as having the same frame for installation. It is proven giving very good result on our 10″ complete speakers and Liionidas open baffle.
