Raindrop-3 is almost the default desktop speaker for all our members. With a spiral transport line design dedicatedly designed for the 3 inch driver unit, this speaker brings great balance, bass and detail at close listening range. Besides, it has superb adaptability and fits for a great range of amplification – it can adapt to cheap electronic amplifier and PC audio source with dynamic and balanced sound for movie and game, but can also fit for tube amplifier and vinyl to bring pure audiophile enjoyment. It sounds differently in different range of sets but can always sound good. Such adaptability is so far unbeatable by any other product of ours, which strictly follow “junk in, junk out” rule and need good gear to play with.
Like Crystal-10 complete speakers, our Raindrop-3 has been upgraded: material switched from common plywood to marine wood, better finishing and thicker transparent lacquer.

These Raindrops are great for the price, better sounding than similar priced products to my ears. They are open and bright in a good way, almost like horn speakers, but without the distortion. They are clear and crisp in the highs and surprisingly full in the mids and mid bass for their size. I am feeding them a nice quality tube amp and DAC and they respond well. I fill them in with a small subwoofer to complete the package. They are easy and pleasant to listen to in my kitchen where I spend a lot of time, I have used them on a desktop around my computer and would use them as an upgrade to a soundbar for my tv without hesitation, but, I already use 15″ Lii Song’s for my tv/stereo. The Raindrops have great clarity for voice and would sound excellent for movies and tv.
